| Focus EDL - The Story So Far ...... Focus EDL delivers electronic technology. Since 1989 Focus Electronic Distribution Limited has represented some of the worlds most innovative manufacturers of electronic components and has supported the UK OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) with this technology, thereby ensuring the highest level of electronic innovation is available to the UK’s leading design engineers. In 2001 Focus Electronic Distribution Limited launched a second business division specialising in the Development, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales of telecom and interconnect products for retailers and installers. These products are released under the KONEXIA brand and are available in both KONEXIA retail packaging and in retailers own custom image packaging. 2005 saw the launch of the third business division specialising in the sourcing of “non franchised” electronic components to compliment the “franchised” product offering of Focus Electronic Distribution Limited which has now become the “OEM Products Division”. This third division, “Kitting & Brokerage” incorporates the now well established and respected Ic4me component search engine. In keeping with the broader range of activities including manufacturing both in the UK and overseas, Focus Electronic Distribution is now more commonly known as Focus EDL.
