Since 1989 Focus Electronic Distribution Limited (Focus EDL) has represented some of the world’s most innovative manufacturers of electronic components, modules and systems and has supplied this technological product into the UK and Europe. Combining this technology with a unique technical ability and in-depth knowledge of the products and the markets, Focus EDL is able to support customers across Europe with the implementation of new designs, developments and installations. Focus EDL supplies this technological product into three markets, and the company organisation is structured to mirror these directly. Focus EDL components Division supplies Electronic Components into the UK “Original Equipment Manufacturers” (OEM) customer base. These customers design and manufacture electronic equipment and Focus EDL supplies the technology and support to assist in ensuring that our customers are technological leaders in their field. Focus EDL Modules Division specialises in the Development, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales across Europe of telecom and interconnect products for retailers and installers. Some of these products are released under the KONEXIA brand and are available in both KONEXIA retail packaging and in retailers own custom image packaging. Focus EDL Infrastructure Division supplies Telcos, Datacentres and Data communications companies across Europe with the highest quality, highest technology products for Copper and Fiber communications Infrastructure. Focus EDL Brokerage division specialises in the sourcing of “non franchised” electronic components to compliment the “franchised” product offering of Focus Electronic Distribution Limited which has now become the “OEM Products Division”. This forth division, “Kitting & Brokerage” incorporates the now well established and respected Ic4me component search engine.
