Antennas for Wireless Devices

Pulse's R&D programs have targeted solutions which introduce innovations with clear benefits for realizing wireless functions in a large number of device types – also in a multiradio environment. The focus is on designing standard solutions.


As a result, Pulse offers a range of standardized wireless device antennas which bring intelligent benefits to wireless device designs. The products are based on Pulse's large "technology / components library" which includes a number of antenna, contact, SMD, connector, cable and other solutions. An antenna product is built by combining solutions from the library in an optimal way.


Pulse ceramic technology allows for outstandingly small-size wireless device antennas with uncompromised antenna performance. In addition, the inherent immunity of ceramic solutions to other antennas and the hand effect makes them extremely desirable solutions for small hand-held devices with multiple antennas.


In addition to small size, ceramic antenna solutions allow benefits through integrating several bands or functions into the same antenna. The integration results in considerable space and cost savings.


Pulse´s helix and stick antennas allow for superior transmission between wireless access points in free-space applications.


The SMD compatibility of products allows for the avoidance of complicated mounting methods.
